Role Description
This is a full-time Salesperson role located on-site in Charleston, SC. The Salesperson will be responsible for generating leads, contacting potential clients, negotiating contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. The role involves meeting sales targets, creating sales reports, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their shipping needs.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts to close sales.
- Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Qualifications
- Sales, Negotiation, and Customer Relationship Management skills
- Experience in lead generation and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and work collaboratively with a team
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
